World Migratory Bird Day with TKC

How many birds can you find in your yard on World Migratory Bird Day?

Picture
Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with us here at The Kensington Conservancy!

On May 8th, we challenge you to go outside within your own yard (or nearby greenspace if you do not have a yard) and try to find some migratory birds. You might be amazed at how many birds you're able to see from your own home.

Submit a list of what bird species you are able to find throughout the day on May 8th from your yard (or nearby greenspace) to us at [email protected] by 3:00pm EDT on May 10th to get your name in a draw for a bird feeder prize pack. Please include your name, phone number, and your general location (town/township) in your email. Feel free to send in photos of the birds you see too!

Everyone is eligible to participate regardless of location, although the winner of the prize pack will have to be able to pick it up at The Kensington Conservation Centre (69 Boyer Drive in Desbarats, Ontario).

Please consider making a donation for World Migratory Bird Day to The Kensington Conservancy to support our conservation efforts in the St. Joseph Channel area.

We also encourage you to submit your sightings to eBird's Global Big Day.
