2022 Annual Appeal Letter
It's the thanks giving time of year, so we are happy to say “Thank You!” for your generous support of The Kensington Conservancy. Your membership and donations have funded a big year for TKC.
In 2022, we acquired 278 acres called the Gravel Point Preserve, which has a new 1.5km loop hiking trail that’s open to the public. We have identified 450+ species on the preserve so far, including some that are rare and at-risk. Thanks to you, we achieved our goal of raising $90,000 to protect the preserve in perpetuity and create the hiking trail system.
Some of our other achievements this year include:
It was great to see you in the various education and social gatherings this year! We had TKC Junior Explorers and the Explorer Summer Day Camp, community nights, guided hikes, snowshoes, paddles, bird counts, and much more.
Your contributions support our fabulous staff and our annual operating budget. They are protecting the land and water, while supporting and educating our community. Please give generously to our annual campaign!
Sincerely,
Richard Warren
