Land Protection

The Kensington Conservancy works hard to protect land for future generations.

Protected Properties

The Kensington Conservancy protects almost 900 acres of land in the Desbarats area.  We own just over 800 acres of land and have conservation easements on another 90 acres.  Many of our protected properties are part of the area's two Provincially Significant Wetlands, the Kensington Complex and the Stobie Creek Wetland.  Wetlands are a very important part of nature and we're proud to help protect them.
