WILDLIFE CLIPS

The staff of the Kensington Conservancy spend a great deal of time out in the field and, as part of our monitoring duties, we take a great deal of pictures and video. Enough in fact that we've begun our own Youtube channel to share the sights we see. Our wildlife clips are short and - for the most part - unedited footage of animals from our Area of Concern. We've posted some of our videos here but we have a great deal more hosted on Youtube; you can more wildlife clips by visiting our channel here

Brown Bullhead Catfish Under Lilypad

This footage was captured in one of our wetlands - Stobie Creek. It feature a group of juvenile Brown Bullhead Catfish taking cover beneath a lilypad. Brown Bullheads are very common in our area and are a prey species for many other animals including, herons, osprey, gulls, mink and large fish.
