2023 Annual Campaign Letter
Thanks to you, The Kensington Conservancy has had a successful year in 2023! As you know, our Annual Campaign is critical to TKC’s operations. It funds our staff, programs, and community outreach for the coming year.
Your contributions and volunteer efforts allow us to continue our scientific studies of bats and water quality and embark on a new partnership with American Friends of Canadian Conservation to protect ecologically sensitive land. We have also expanded the hiking trails on the Gravel Point Preserve and carried on our community outings and youth education programs.
TKC has now recorded over 1,400 species of flora and fauna on our protected properties, including at risk species such as little brown bat, least bittern, yellow-banded bumble bee, and black ash. This demonstrates the amazing biodiversity and importance of these protected habitats.
We couldn’t do this important work without you and your generous support of the Annual Campaign. Please help our amazing staff continue to protect the land and water, and provide educational opportunities for our local youth and communities in 2024!
Sincerely,
Richard Warren
