Increasing Our Conservation Impact: A Vision for Central Algoma
For many years, The Kensington Conservancy has been dedicated to protecting our unique natural beauty and ecological integrity. Through our efforts, we’ve safeguarded critical habitats, preserved vital ecosystems, and fostered a strong conservation ethic within our community. It started in the Desbarats area and then grew to the entirety of the St. Joseph Channel. Now, we have an opportunity to expand our impact by broadening our focus area to encompass the entire Central Algoma region under a new name: Central Algoma Land Trust. |
Our Board of Directors has approved this name change, but it must also be formally approved by our membership. We encourage all members in good standing to participate in this important decision by attending this meeting.
